Learning Mentor job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and understanding learning mentor to support students within our existing dedicated team. The post is open to candidates who would like to work either 26 hours per week (4 days) or 32.5 hours per week (5 days).
You will be expected to help students stay on task, whilst being able to overcome social and emotional barriers to learning. To raise their aspirations, self-esteem and maximise learning potential.
We are a vibrant, popular school and have a strong partnership with the community and local schools. Highfields is situated in Matlock, the county town of Derbyshire, on the south-eastern edge of the Peak District. It is within easy reach of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post, will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
