Learning Mentor/Nurture Team Leader job summary

To provide leadership to the nurture team, organising their involvement across the school.
To work with families, teachers, support staff and external agencies,
To act as a point of contact for families in need, conducting home visits where needed.
To monitor and identify patterns of attendance and plan appropriate interventions and support as needed
To plan and draw up appropriate approaches to support pupils individually and in groups,
To work with individuals and groups to equip children with the skills and confidence to reintegrate them back in to school life.
