We are seeking to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic Learning Mentor – Pastoral Support Lead to support the children at Kilnhurst St Thomas CE Primary Academy.

We are seeking to employ an individual who:-

Has experience working recently within a primary school or nursery setting

Can act as an advocate for the school and be a positive role model for children, parents and the wider school community

Is committed to achieving and promoting high standards of care, learning and behaviour.

Has experience of learning interventions

Is aware of and comply with all key school policies such as Safeguarding and Child Protection, Health and Safety, Data Protection, SEN.

Will attend meetings where required including parent meetings and professionals’ meetings

Has a competent standard of numeracy, literacy and ICT

Is willing to participate in further training and development opportunities

Is able to maintain confidentiality on all school matters
