What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a dynamic Learning Mentor who is innovative and a team player in the education environment. We are seeking an ambitious, driven and career focused individual to join our team.
The main purpose of the role as Learning Mentor is to work as part of a team providing intervention support to students across the school. The Learning Mentor will be based in our pastoral area, to offer forward facing daily support to our students and communicate with parents and guardians of students where applicable. An ability to provide mental health support to students, using intervention plans will be the majority of the job role.
The successful candidate will share our values, be passionate and be able to drive students forwards on their pastoral journey. Understanding their individual needs and collaborating with the team to put appropriate plans in place with the individual at the heart of everything we do. The postholder will have the ability to demonstrate their commitment to the role and how they can support the trust in fostering collaboration ensuring the continual improvement of the quality of students' learning is at the top of the business agenda.
