Due to an
internal promotion we are seeking a Learning Mentor to join #teamgladstone
The successful candidate
will work within our Inclusion Team and alongside our other Learning Mentors
support, guide and mentor individual or small group of pupils who require
additional support to overcome barriers to learning, to achieve their full
will involve supporting the attendance team to challenge poor attendance and
punctuality by sending letters, phoning parents, conducting home visits and
conducting panel meetings with parents as part of the monitoring process. Full training will be given.

have experience of providing one-to-one or small group support with the more challenging

affecting their learning, to help them overcome the barriers to learning and
improve their education. You
will have experience of working in a classroom, adapting the activities to meet
the individual's needs as assessed.
