32.5 hours per week - TTO + Training Days (08:30 - 16:00 daily)
Fixed Term Contract until 31st August, 2022, subjected to Pupil Premium Funding
Applications are invited from experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants with excellent numeracy and literacy skills. The successful candidate will mentor targeted students to boost attainment and understanding of the specified subject area - we are currently seeking to recruit one Learning Mentor to work in the English Faculty and another in the Mathematics Faculty. The role will consist of in-class support and the undertaking of intervention classes, either as a group or 1 to 1 basis.
Candidates will be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent in English and Maths and exhibit effective inter-personal and communication skills and have the ability to develop positive relationships with children and families. You will need to work both flexibly and independently, and demonstrate administrative and IT.
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 32.5 per week
Expected start date: Immediate start
