Salary: Grade 4 £17,882 to £19,742 per annum pro rota (FTE £22,183 - £24,491)

Hours: 34 hours 50 minutes per week, 39 weeks per year

Contract term: Permanent

The Role

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen at Heritage High School for a Learning and Progress Assistant. If you are successful for this position, you will join a supportive faculty and work in partnership with teachers to support students learning with varying degrees of learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties. As part of this role, you will also be responsible for covering class planning work.

The person

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic hard-working and is passionate about supporting young people achieve their best. We are looking for a candidate who has experience of working with or coaching young people, that is confident in dealing with difficult behaviour with the courage to challenge students to be their best and reach their full potential while maintaining a clam working environment.

Heritage High School is a thriving 11-16 comprehensive school in the heart of our community.
