  • Full time - 36 hours per week / 46 weeks per year (includes 5 inset days and a workback element) (Monday 8.00am-4.30pm and Tuesday to Friday 8.00-3.30pm)
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: £24,496 - £26,845 per annum pro rata (Actual salary: £21,669 - £23,747)
• Pay scale: SCP 12-17, Pay Grade F

What skills and experience we're looking for

• Previous experience of working with children is desirable but not essential
  
• Be passionate about supporting education
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to the role
• Be flexible and adaptable in a busy educational environment
• Have the ability to work well in a team and independently
• Have a working knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
• Have the ability to relate to children and young people
• Be able to inspire, influence, challenge and motivate, leading by example
• Have a level 2 qualification in English and maths

Kirkby High School are seeking to appoint a learning supervisor to supervise whole classes during the short term absence of teachers.
