We are looking to appoint a full-time classroom teaching assistant to work across all year groups, although mainly in our year 1 and 2 class this academic year. You will have the desire to promote a love of learning and curiosity with children. You will be part of an amazing team, who are determined that every child will succeed.
This post is open to both experienced teaching assistants and those with less experience.

We are a small rural primary school with fantastic children spread across 4 mixed age classes including a Nursery. We have a large forest school area to enrich outdoor learning and follow a natural curiosity approach across the school.

About the role
We are looking for a Classroom Learning Support Assistant to join our wonderful team and to support the learning of all pupils including those with additional SEND needs. This will require excellent communication skills and the ability to be flexible when needed. The role will be varied across the school and will include:
supporting the class teacher with general LSA duties,
supporting teaching and learning through group and split teaching
supporting 1:1 SEND pupils with their learning and medical needs
supporting other SEND pupils with interventions
other duties according to personal skills ie music, computing, first aid, social media, or nurture
lunch and break time supervision
