What skills and experience we're looking for
We require an enthusiastic, motivated and organised individual to support identified students with special educational needs and/or disabilities to enable them to access the curriculum. You will be working with students across all three key stages and therefore education to A Level standard is essential. The knowledge and experience of working with young people is desirable along with good interpersonal and listening skills.This position would suit someone who is possibly considering teaching as a profession and wants to gain experience and develop their skills within a large secondary school across a range of curriculum areas.
There may be the opportunity to be financially rewarded for taking on additional lunchtime duties.

In 2019, 55% of our A Level students achieved A* to B grades, 88% of our A Level students achieved A* to C grades, 83% of our GCSE students achieved a Good pass (Grade 4+) in Eniglish and 71% of our GCSE students achieved a Good pass (Grade 4+) in Maths.
The percentage of students who achieved the expected levels of progress in English and Mathematics was significantly above the national average as was the percentage of students who achieved more than expected progress in these areas.
