We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our busy and vibrant high school and help really make a difference to the futures of our young people. The hours of work are 13 per week, worked over two days, for 38 weeks per year (term-time only). Please view the job description for further details of the role.

  • Have some previous school-based employment or experience.
  • Be patient, calm and demonstrate empathy
  • Demonstrate adaptability and resilience
  • Have good communication skills

Stowmarket High School is situated in picturesque mid Suffolk with excellent commuter links to Cambridge, Ipswich and Norwich. We are an inclusive 11 – 18 Academy and part of Waveney Valley Academies Trust. 6th Form is currently not being offered. Construction of a new school is now complete on our current site and we have moved into our new state of the art school.
