Bungay Primary School is an established ‘GOOD’ primary school based in Bungay, Suffolk. We are part of a thriving multi-academy trust, ASSET Education. We are looking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our friendly and incredibly dedicated team at Bungay Primary School. We are looking to recruit an excellent LSA that has experience of working with children with ASD and children who have additional C&I (Communication and Interaction) needs.
We are looking to recruit a caring and nurturing individual, who is bursting with enthusiasm and has a solution focused attitude. Our newest team member must be patient and show plenty of perseverance. They must have the skills to build lasting and meaningful relationships with individual children. They will have good communication skills, both written and spoken and in return we can offer you a truly fabulous school to work in!
The person that we are looking for needs to:
Have experience of working with children with ASD and/ or additional Communication and Interaction needs
Be a learning support assistant who exemplifies excellent classroom practice, behavior management and high expectations
Have the skills to build good, supportive relationships with children that are built on mutual understanding and respect
Have the skills to follow and set clear boundaries and support children to self-regulate enabling them to learn effectively in class, small groups or individually
Work with dynamic, forward thinking staff who have high aspirations for our children
Has experience of working in Early Years
Respect confidentiality
This post will be reporting directly to the Class Teacher and will be based at Bungay Primary School.
