What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Do you have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills?

  • Are you a highly motivated and hard working individual, with good attention to detail?

  • Do you enjoy working with children, motivating and inspiring them to strive for success?

  • Are you passionate about supporting children to ensure that all students reach their full potential?

If you can answer yes to these questions, we would love to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Learning Support Team at Frimley Church of England Junior School. We are seeking a proactive individual to provide an excellent level of support to both staff and students in the school.

The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, hard working with a sense of fun, and have high expectations of children in the Key Stage 2 setting. They will enjoy both supporting and celebrating the achievement of pupils as they strive to show the attributes of a Frimley Learner.

Experience of working in a classroom setting would be an advantage but the successful candidate does not need to have specific training as full training and induction support will be given where needed. Learning Support Assistants encourage learning as part of a year group team, working under the direct supervision of both the class teacher and year leader. The hours will include supervision on the playground.
