Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to help students with a range of needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting individual students and small groups in lessons
Promoting inclusion and positive behaviour
Assisting with learning resources and classroom activities
Encouraging independence and confidence in students
We are looking for someone who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping young people succeed. Previous experience in education or working with children is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided. This would be an excellent opportunity for a graduate wishing to gain relevant experience or for those considering a career in teaching.
Salary will be paid according to experience on Grade C £25,252- £26,262 (pro-rated to £20,821 - £21.635 per annum for 35 hours per week: Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 4:00 pm, Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, 38 weeks term time plus 1 week).
