Salary: Band A Point 1 - 6 (£16,286.54 - £17,502.20 per annum)


Fixed term contract until 31st August 2025


32 hours 5 minutes per week - Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:25pm (30 minute unpaid lunch break)


37 weeks of the year – term time only

A new opportunity has arisen, for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our successful team supporting students in the classroom. Little Thurrock Primary School are looking for an aspirational Learning Support Assistant to work as part of a team at Little Thurrock Primary School.


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to communicate with other members of staff effectively
  • The planning of learning activities by identifying and preparing resources required to support lesson plans, learning outcomes
  • The ability to build a strong professional relationship with the children and their families
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Accurate record keeping skills (Progress and medical where required)
  • A willingness to support personal care
  • A passion for the impact teaching and learning can have on improving life
  • A commitment to delivering education of the highest standard
  • A good level of Literacy and Numeracy
