Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Practitioner to ensure all our students fulfil their potential.
This role is supported with an Advanced Apprenticeship in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Level 2), which would prove hugely beneficial for candidates seeking a future in teaching.
The post is initially offered on a fixed term contract with the possibility of permanency in the future. The successful candidate will provide support for students as identified by the SEND Team. Good levels of numeracy and literacy are required (GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths).
Previous school experience and specialist qualifications are not essential, as it is more important for the successful candidate to show empathy, resilience, initiative, dedication to our students. Training and guidance will be provided.
