Learning Support Assistant job summary
LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT
Permanent posts, term time plus one week.
Grade 2 (NJC point 3), full time salary of £18,562 p.a.
31 hours per week over 5 days (pro rata £13,317 p.a.)
12 hours per week over 2 days, ideally Monday and Tuesday, but can be flexible (pro rata £5,155 p.a.)

An opportunity has arisen for committed and conscientious individuals who would like to contribute to the success of our school by working as Learning Support Assistants.
The successful candidates will provide in-class support or work with small groups of students with Special Educational Needs to help overcome barriers to learning and build confidence, competence and independence.
In addition to the above, there is an opportunity to provide more specialised personal care for a female student. You will need to have the ability to attend to the physical, personal care and social needs of the student depending on the nature of their need. This additional responsibility attracts an added allowance of up to £1,200 p.a. for the duration of the student’s time at CNS.

This post comes under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
