Bournes Green Infant and Junior Schools pride themselves in providing an inclusive education in a safe and engaging school environment where all children are nurtured and encouraged to aim high.
We are a mainstream two–form entry Infant and Junior school made up of a dedicated and talented team of teaching and support staff and absolutely fantastic children. We are part of the SECAT Multi-Academy Trust and work closely alongside four other local schools. Although we are a separate Infant and Junior school, we have one leadership team which means that the transition between the schools is smooth and the approaches to teaching and learning are consistent across our schools. We are lucky to have such beautiful grounds, which include an outdoor swimming pool, a dedicated outdoor learning area with a pond, a large field, a computer suite, a sports pitch, fantastic EYFS outdoor facilities, exciting play equipment and two lovely libraries.
We aim to 'instil a lifelong love of learning' through our Learning Powers which permeate all we do: curiosity, enthusiasm, cooperation, imagination, improvement, concentration, perseverance, and effort.
We are proud to be a part of the Southend East Community Academy Trust (SECAT) along with Hinguar Primary School, Richmond Avenue Primary and Nursery School, Thorpedene Primary School and Nursery and Shoeburyness High School.
