Learning Support Assistant - Apprentice
Salary: National Minimum Wage – Apprentice £6.40 per hour
Start date: September 2024
Hours: 8:45am - 3:45pm, 32.5 hours term time + insets (36.4 working weeks)
Abbotsweld Primary Academy are looking for an apprentice Learning Support Assistant to join our successful team in September 2024. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Learning Support Assistants (LSA) would work alongside, and individually from class teachers.
Essential requirements:
English and Maths at GCSE level A-C (4-9)
Functional skills equivalent
Ability to use ICT and learn new skills
Working in partnership with specialist teacher to support pupils needs
Qualification:
Teaching Assistant Level 3
Duration – Approx. 16 Months
