About the role:
We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistants to provide tailored support to scholars with additional needs. You will have key responsibility for the educational and intimate care needs of identified scholars. You will also have a commitment to academic excellence and helping every child to succeed. As a Learning Support Assistant you will build strong relationships with scholars, staff and professionals and ensure that the scholars needs are effectively met
Our ideal candidate will be able to:
- Joint work with Teachers SENCO, Head of Departments and other professionals to ensure scholars can access the school curriculum on a daily basis, through the use of assisted technology
- Support the medical carer with intimate care needs on a daily basis
- Deliver specialist care following the advice and guidance of medical professionals involved in each scholar’s health care
- Contribute to understanding and development of SEN Provision across Ark All Saints
- Ensure that scholars needs are effectively communicated
