Learning Support Assistant job summary
Belvoirdale Primary School (Good Ofsted, November 2023) in the heart of Coalville, are seeking applications for the position of a Learning Support Assistant for the Cedar SEND classroom. The role is to provide learning support to children with a variety of learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH. You will:
- Have a good standard of education
- Be enthusiastic and flexible and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Have experience/knowledge of working with all abilities including ASD/ADHD, SEMH, SEND and related learning behaviours
- Have a knowledge of the new SEND code of practice that supports an inclusive classroom

All LSA’s require a willingness to become First Aid trained if not already qualified and to attend appropriate training to fulfil their role.
