An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join us at Church Hill Infant School on a fixed term basis until August 2022. The fixed term nature of the role is in relation to cover that is required within the school for the remainder of the academic year.
We are looking to appoint a well-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to providing high quality provision to our pupils and the Class Teacher. The role will involve working as a general year group based LSA, who will support the Classroom Teacher in managing the class whilst also supporting the SEN needs within the group.
The ideal candidate for the role will be NVQ Level 2 qualified or equivalent with experience of supporting teaching and learning in an educational setting. We welcome application from those who hold a HLTA qualification however, our focus is on recruiting the right individual. We are looking for someone with the willingness to learn and the determination and drive to enhance our pupils learning experiences.
The ability to take direction from the Class Teacher to ensure all tasks and learning is undertaken within and outside of the classroom will be essential to being successful in this role.
