Learning Support Assistant job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Claydon High School as a general Learning Support Assistant, working within a strong and supportive team in a popular and successful school. The post will involve working with students and staff to support learning and in particular promoting literacy and numeracy across the curriculum. This may include: in-class support, 1:1 tuition or working with small groups extracted from lessons. Our whole school focus is supporting students to be the best they can be.
We are looking for confident, committed and flexible individual with good communication skills. Ideally the successful candidate will have some experience of working with young people aged 11-16. This post would suit someone considering pursuing a teaching career.
