What skills and experience we're looking for

This role is varied and involves general classroom support / small group work, as well as working one to one with children with specific learning needs, to help them to develop and thrive.We are looking for a caring and compassionate team player, who will collaborate with colleagues, is willing to learn and expand their understanding of how different children develop.

Compassionate and motivated to work with children and support their needs

Able to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting the school’s values and ethos.

Experience of working with children with special educational needs (preferred but not essential – full training will be provided).

Commitment to safeguarding

Willing to try new approaches to learning

Able to communicate with colleagues and feedback key information

Help to create a safe, engaging and supportive learning space.

Use initiative and act in the best interest of all children

Support children on the playground at lunch times and work as part of the lunchtime team
