27 hours 5 minutes per week

8:40am - 3:10pm Monday - Friday

15-minute break and 50-minute unpaid lunch break

37 weeks of the year - term time only

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our successful team, supporting pupils within the classroom environment. This is an exciting role for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on children’s education and future.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital part in enabling pupils to access learning by supervising and assisting them both one-to-one and in small group, across a range of activities. You will work closely with class teachers to support learning in line with the National Curriculum and help create an inclusive, positive learning experience for every child.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with colleagues.
  • The ability to build positive, professional relationships with children and their families.
  • A collaborative approach to class planning, with flexibility to adapt plans to meet individual needs.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Effective behaviour management strategies.
  • A good standard of English and Mathematics (GCSE grade 4-9 or equivalent preferred).
  • Confidence in communicating with parents and attending professional meetings when required.
  • Accurate record-keeping skills, including progress and medical information where necessary.
  • A willingness to support pupils with personal care when needed.
  • A genuine passion for the transformative impact of teaching and learning.
  • A commitment to delivering education of the highest quality.
