Sybourn is a multicultural primary school in the heart of East London and has recently had been graded as Outstanding by Ofsted.
We are looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants, who have experience of working in a childcare setting to join the team at Sybourn Primary School to assist and support a child with special educational needs.
The Learning Support Assistant’s main role is to provide support for a pupil with a statement of special educational needs. The LSA will ensure that the pupil can integrate as fully as possible in the activities generally undertaken by other children in the class.
Duties may include running specific programmes and activities to assist the pupils individual learning, medical and social needs. The LSA will be responsible for implementing the targets on the pupils individual education plan in liaison with the SENDCO, Assistant Headteachers and Learning Mentors.
