- The position is term time only. 31.25 hours a week, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) from 8.30am to 3.15pm. You may be asked to work the school INSET days for which overtime will be paid.
Contract type
- Fixed term - 1 year initially but with the potential to extend
Full-time equivalent salary
- FTE Bucks Pay Range 1B scale 6 £18,522 to Range 2 scale 15 £22,766 depending on qualifications and experience.
Actual salary
- FTE based on 37 hours per week, 52 weeks p.a.
Learning Support Assistant job summary
The successful candidate will:
Be able to support in the delivery of high quality learning experiences for all pupils;
Have high expectations of learning and behaviour and inspire and motivate our children;
Be supportive, nurturing and understanding with high expectations;
Seek to make learning exciting and a positive experience;
Communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils;
Work closely with staff as part of a team;
Be willing to contribute to school life outside of the classroom;
Be prepared cover for teachers for short intervals when necessary;
Support pupils learning through SEN interventions and small group support;
Be fully supportive of the strong Christian ethos of the school and it’s values.
