What skills and experience we're looking for

Due to the continuing expansion of our Specialist Centre we have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and exceptional Learning Support Assistant in our Key Stage 2 ASD class, joining our hard-working and dedicated Centre team.

We are looking for:

  • Someone who is passionate about making a difference and working with children with special needs.
  • An experienced Learning Support Assistant.
  • A team player who has the ability to rise to challenges.
  • Someone with a sense of humour.
  • Someone with a patient and caring disposition.


What the school offers its staff

The Harbour Centre at The Hythe School is a 35 place specialist centre for children with a range of learning and physical needs. We are an inclusive school. In this role, you will be working with children within our specialist Centre classroom, and also supporting small groups to access their mainstream provision. We are really proud of our children and are certain that you would be too.
