Learning Support Assistant x2 - Ilminster Avenue E-ACT Academy

We are looking for x2 enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to join our friendly, supportive team at Ilminster Avenue E-ACT Academy. The roles are varied and exciting, some of the main duties are as follows:
Providing some 1:1 support for pupils in KS2 with SEMH needs at key points in the day
Providing small group support in class
Running targeted interventions.
You will primarily be working with pupils in receipt of top up funding or an EHCP within our KS2 group. You may also be required to support medical needs, and experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs, particularly SEMH needs would be advantageous.
The contracts are full time (30 hours per week, Monday to Friday) and are rolling 12 month contracts dependent on pupil top up funding. We require the successful candidates to commence employment on 28/02/2022.
Candidates should hold a relevant qualification for the role ie NVQ level 2 as a minimum along with functioning skills (Maths & English Grade A-C). NVQ level 3 is desirable, however not essential.
