Learning Support Assistant job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work in one of our Reception classes supporting our early years’ education by assisting in the planning and delivery of the EYFS curriculum and supporting our young learners.

The successful applicant would be expected to work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff, support the needs of all children, provide feedback to the teacher and contribute to Tapestry records.
Knowledge of EYFS setting and curriculum is essential. A Level 3 EY qualification is desirable.
The position is a permanent one, starting as soon as possible. The hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday with a 50-minute unpaid lunch break each day. This is a total of 30 hours 50 minutes per week, term time only.
