About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, proactive Learning Support Assistant to join our nurturing team. You will provide high-quality tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), enabling them to flourish academically, socially, and emotionally within our inclusive Christian school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEND in EYFS.
- Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of differentiated activities.
- Promote children’s emotional wellbeing, self-regulation, and independence.
- Implement strategies from EHCPs and liaise effectively with the SENDCo.
- Contribute to reviews, observations, and record-keeping.
- Uphold the school’s Christian values and ethos in all interactions.
Commitment to safeguarding
The schools have a commitment to safeguard children and have a culture of vigilance to support this. The post holder will be required to undergo a disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service before taking up employment.
