What skills and experience we're looking for

Post Summary: We, the Board of Governors, are delighted that you are considering a career at Broom Valley. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Learning Support Assistant who firmly believes that every child, regardless of their circumstances, can achieve excellent outcomes. The staff team are passionate about their work and support each other in their aim to provide the best for every child, every day. All enjoy their work and participate, wholeheartedly, in the professional culture that pervades.

The successful candidate will be someone who has experience of both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and possess GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or an equivalent qualification).

We need a Learning Support Assistant who:

  • believes that children ‘surprise us daily’ if we let them;
  • is self-driven to improve;
  • is committed to making a positive difference to the outcomes of every child.
