Little Milton Church of England Primary School is situated in a beautiful rural Oxfordshire village, close to the historic city of Oxford and within 5 minutes of the M40.

Throughout their time at Little Milton School, children are taught in classes of mixed age and ability, where they are encouraged to work together as well as independently. High quality personalised learning opportunities enable our children to thrive, providing them with the necessary experiences and skills to achieve their potential. Many opportunities are taken to extend learning beyond the four walls of the classroom, as we utilise the community in which we are situated from our local village sports facilities, dedicated Forest school for every child in the school throughout the year and in the later school years with a bi annual residential trip to Woodlands Educational Centre, experiencing the stunning Brecon Beacons . Much use is made of experts who are invited into our school to share their passion and knowledge for their subject.

We work in partnership with parents so that children leave our school as happy, confident, healthy and responsible young people with a highly developed sense of duty and resilience. The nurturing and supportive atmosphere of the school is also evident in the playground, where older and younger children are encouraged to play together and look after one another. Children’s mental health has always been important at Little Milton School and we are proud to have been a ‘Mind Up’ school for the last five years. With experienced staff, we have a well – established programme of supporting positive mental health in all classes on a daily basis.
