Learning Support Assistant job summary

If you have the aptitude and ability to directly support student learning with enthusiasm, warmth and compassion, then we would very much like to hear from you, including from applicants that may wish to work part-time.
The role is highly rewarding and will be responsive to the needs of our learners requiring additional support. The role, and hours paid, includes supervision on a rota of pre or after school clubs or at break or lunchtime.
The Academy is very well resourced through our commitment to provide outstanding opportunities for learning, with excellent facilities and equipment and subject-specific classrooms.

Our Academy is situated in the historic fishing town of Looe on Cornwall’s outstanding south eastern coastline, serving the beautiful coastal and rural villages and hamlets and is just a scenic, 30 minute drive from Plymouth.
Assessed by Ofsted in January 2019 as a good school, the Academy is an inclusive secondary community school delivering Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to 610 students aged 11-16 and of mixed ability.
