Learning Support Assistant job summary

From September 2022, the salary will increase to a full-time equivalent of £18,846 and will be pro-rated to reflect the working basis that is offered to the successful candidate.
About the role: Molehill Primary Academy has a fantastic opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join our highly collaborative and supportive team, starting from April 2022. Our LSAs are pivotal to our success in the classroom and provide a great deal of support for our teachers, therefore our successful candidate will be able to establish strong working relationships with staff and students alike. Key responsibilities will be to provide pupils with a wide range of support, guided by the Class Teacher, to enable children to make progress and attain the targets set within the National Curriculum or Individual Education Plans.

This is a full time, fixed term opportunity offering an actual salary of £15,766 per annum, based on 37 hours per week, Term Time +1 week inset. Note that whilst the position is offered on a fixed term basis until July 2022, every effort will be made to offer a substantive position thereafter, within the wider family of academies across Leigh Academies Trust.
