What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will work alongside and be supporting a specific pupil with additional needs. They will be required to work with the class team to create the best possible provision for the pupil, enabling them to be fully included in school life and achieve their best.
We are looking for someone who:
Ideally has SEND experience
Is flexible and able to adapt to the needs of all pupils
Is able to work with the class team to develop and deliver support plans
Is able to build positive relationships with all pupils
Has a desire to enable every child to succeed regardless of the needs or abilities
Is able to liaise closely with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider community
Uses positive behaviour management strategies
Communicates well with staff and parents and well organised
Is a team player but can work under their own initiative
Is creative in their approach to stimulating and engaging pupils
