What skills and experience we're looking for

Candidates will need to demonstrate:

  • Have a range of experience of supporting pupils within a classroom context
  • Work confidently, effectively and collaboratively with our teachers
  • Have experience of contributing to planning and evaluation of learning activities
  • Assess children’s progress during lessons
  • Ideally, have experience of Letters & Sounds
  • Support the inclusivity of pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health needs
  • Provide a purposeful and well-disciplined learning environment which reflects the school ethos.
  • Establish positive, supportive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
  • Understand their responsibilities regarding Safeguarding
