Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint 1 permanent Learning Support Assistant to start in September/October 2024.You will be working in a very effective and friendly team of LSA’s that support the educational, personal and social needs of our pupils in and out of lessons. Each position is for 30 hours 25 minutes per week (8.35am-3.35pm term-time, plus 5 training days). You will need to have a NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), be fit, enthusiastic and able to motivate pupils to achieve their best in all aspects of the curriculum. The appointed candidates will support the SEND department in promoting and supporting the inclusion of all pupils in the learning activities in which they are involved. This post offers an exciting opportunity for someone energised and passionate about working with young people in seeing them flourish, learn and grow.
Parkfields has 470 children and includes a hearing impaired provision. The school was last inspected by Ofsted in May 2024 and was judged as Good in all areas.
