This is a role focused
on supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Experience working with students with SEMH or communication and interaction
needs is desirable but not essential. This role is not the traditional in class
support; every day will be different. You will be working with and coaching
students both within mainstream lessons and in our ‘Pathways’ inclusion unit.
You will develop a positive working relationship with your allocated students,
enabling you to plan the best support for their academic and social progress.
This could involve adjusting activities, daily check-ins, suggesting supporting
strategies for staff, 1:1 interventions or other strategies.
