What skills and experience we're looking for
St Mary's Catholic Voluntary Academy are seeking to appoint a caring and passionate Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1-2-1 basis with pupils.
Are you an enthusiastic and committed Leaning Support Assistant looking to join a warm and welcoming school? You will have a talent for engaging children and will be required to support teachers with raising the attainment of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning.
You will:
Work with teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusionBe caring and supportiveGive support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement
