What skills and experience we're looking for

Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

Here at Kirton Lane we are looking to further develop our highly inclusive Special Educational Needs offer for our existing cohort of pupils. We are looking to recruit:

Learning support assistants:

(x2) Learning support assistants to work specifically with a SEND pupil on a one to one basis who have an EHCP or currently school support. Grade 5 (£23,114 - £23,893 FTE). This position will be temporary 30 hours per week.

This contract will be for a fixed term for the purpose of funding or attached to a SEND child commencing on or as close to the 9th September 2024 and continuing so long as funding is available to us as the employer to support the post in which you are employed or so long as the child remains in the school. Because of the uncertainty of the availability of ongoing funding or the placement of the child, the school cannot guarantee you any minimum or maximum period of employment. It is a condition of this contract that you agree that if or when funding for the post is withdrawn, or the child leaves the school your contract of employment will be terminated.
