Salary: Band A Point 1 – 6
(£8,672.05 - £9,319.36 per annum)
17 hours 5 minutes per week
Monday – Friday 8:35am – 12:00pm
37 weeks of the year – term time only

Stanford-le-Hope Primary School wishes to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who has a good understanding of child development and learning and would be willing to support children with both their physical and academic needs.
You will have a passion for working with pupils and assisting them on their journey. You will need to understand the subjects that you support the children in, be able to demonstrate a fair attitude and apply rules consistently as well as be confident in adjusting learning programs to meet the child’s needs. You will be resilient, hardworking and have excellent de-escalation skills.
The successful candidate will:

- Have excellent written skills with the ability to multi-task
- Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain positive
- Have the ability to follow safeguarding procedures and prioritise students’ welfare
- Have GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above (Or equivalent)
