What skills and experience we're looking for

The governors and staff of the Island Free School seek to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to play a central support role in the development of our vision for an outstanding secondary school.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, be organised and methodical in their approach, be a problem solver and promote inclusion in their work.

Our school is highly academic and all pupils follow the English Baccalaureate, with GCSE programmes of study in all subject areas. The school, which was created by parents and teachers, opened to year 7 pupils in 2014 and we are now at capacity. Our model has proved very popular with Island families and we are heavily over-subscribed.
