The Role
We are seeking an outstanding individual to support SEN student(s) with complex needs to learn as effectively as possible and to reach their full potential.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
• Working with individuals or small groups of children, in collaboration with teaching staff
• Proactively supporting students with activities designed to enhance numeracy and literacy
• Supporting SEN students in gaining the ability to utilise IT in the classroom
• Promoting positive behaviour, raising esteem and encouraging an aspirational culture
• Working with SEN students to foster their development as independent learners.

We're looking for you if you have:
• GCSE A-C (or equivalent) Maths and English
• Ability to understand and support children with developmental difficulty or disability
• Understanding of procedures and legislation relating to confidentiality
• Good organisation skills
• Ability to use clear language to communicate information unambiguously and listen effectively

This post is 32 hours and 30 minutes per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time, plus inset days). The working pattern is Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm.
