Fixed Term contract until the end of this academic year initially (to be reviewed July 2026)
- Grade 5 Point 7 (£25,191 – £25,590 pro rata) 25 hours per week LSA
- Actual £14,194
There is also the option of 5 hours midday supervisor.
Commencing ASAP
We have a vacancy for a Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils that may have either an EHCP/High Needs Funding or additional needs. The role will involve some work 1:1 with pupils and also supporting small groups. The Lunchtime Supervisor role will involve supervision in the dining room/on the playground.
We are looking for an LSA who is:
• flexible and adaptable, works well in team situations but can also be independent.
• A highly motivated and talented individual who will help continue our drive for excellence in pupil outcomes;
• Committed to supporting the aspirational vision shared by the whole school;
• A calm, reflective and caring individual who understands the needs of children in an educational setting.
Thornton Primary School is a ‘Good School’ with 130 pupils on roll. We pride ourselves on our friendly and welcoming environment where as a small village school, we know each pupil as an individual.
