What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking two learning support assistants (one for EYFS mornings only and one full time in year 3/4) to support pupils within the school. These are fixed term posts until 31st August 2024, however, if this proves to be a successful period, following a 6 week probationary period, then this will be extended. Applicants will be required to support learning and work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, parents and the child. This may also include running some daily group work, learning interventions and assisting the class teacher with more general tasks.

Applicants should be enthusiastic and have high expectations for children's achievements. The successful applicant must be flexible, adaptable, be able to respond to needs and be an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills. A good level of literacy, both written and spoken, will be required for this post.

Energy, drive and a sense of humour are essential. Experience of working with autism and/or moderate learning difficulties would be desirable. Applicants are encouraged to look at our website for more details about the school.
