Learning Support Assistant job summary
You will work under the direct instruction of teacher, usually in a classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils. To provide general support to the teacher in the learning of the pupils in the class.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with a student with additional support needs on a 1:1 basis. Ideally you will have experience of working with people with learning difficulties in an educational setting, as well as a proven ability to motivate students and promote learning.
