What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support the inclusion of identified children with additional educational needs as part of Middle School (KS3). This would primarily involve working with pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9, but may also involve supporting our KS4 learners. We require a motivated and enthusiastic person who can work positively and effectively as part of a team and who can support individuals with complex barriers to learning. The successful candidate must have:
- Experience of working as part of a team
- Experience of working with children
- Good English and Maths skills
- Good ICT skills
- Excellent and effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly with a team and motivate students
- Demonstrate a positive attitude
- Motivation and resilience under pressure
