Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated learning support assistant to join our team. The post involves supporting learning within the classroom; working with individuals and small groups to engage pupils, develop their self-confidence and foster independence. Part of this role will be to deliver speech & language interventions as well as supporting pupils with social & emotional,so experience in these areas would be an advantage.
The hours will be either 8.45am-1.15pm or 11.45am-3.15pm and includes a midday assistant responsibility.

The successful candidate will hold GCE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and an NVQ2 or equivalent in supporting Teaching & Learning.

The children are at the centre of everything we do and they have a genuine voice in how the school looks and feels. We have a split-site so children begin their journey with us at lower school then transfer to upper school in year 3. Our older children support our younger children as lunchtime playleaders, reading ambassadors, sports leaders or anti-bullying ambassadors. Our spacious grounds provide extensive sports fields and playgrounds as well as wildlife areas for outdoor learning.
