Learning Support Assistant job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dedictaed team at Woodside Primary School. We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to support our children in their learning journey.

We are looking to appoint a special person to join our dedicated team of teachers and teaching assistants. You should have a sound understanding of how young children learn and experience of working with children with a variety of needs. You will have had some experience of working with a variety of special needs. A calm and positive outlook and ability to be flexible- as no day is the same and every child needs a different approach- is essential.

You will be working within either key stage 1 or 2, supporting individuals as well as groups of children - supporting the class teacher to enable all children to succeed.

This is a fixed - term position from September to August 2025, with a view to extend- budgets permitting.

Grade: H2 £22,737- 23,500 ( pro rata) £11,561 - £11,949

Hours: 8.30-1pm (22.5 Hours) Monday to Friday- term time only - including a lunch duty.
